Recently,  the mobile app has stopped recording expenses and most of the other functionality.  Is there a change in the policy or a setting that needs to be changed ?

Currently, there are no new updates or policy changes regarding the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app, Almahali. However, I'll help you perform some device troubleshooting steps so your app resumes its functionality.

A cache holds temporary data to enhance app performance and user experience. However, when this becomes outdated or corrupted, it can lead to various issues with the mobile app.

That said, there are several actions you can take to resolve these issues and start anew with fresh cache data. Before doing so, ensure you're using a compatible app version. Here are some quick steps to fix most app-related issues:

  1. Switch the Wi-Fi data connection on your device to 4G (varies by device).
  2. Close and restart the app.
  3. Clear the app's data.
  4. Power down and restart your device.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall the app.

We also recommend refreshing your data to boost the program's performance.

Furthermore, here's a guide to assist you in categorising your transactions using the QBO mobile app: Categorise bank transactions in the QuickBooks Online app.

We'll gladly help if you have additional concerns about recording expenses using the QBO mobile app. Just chime in back to this post, and we'll promptly answer your question. Keep safe.
