In bank transactions page, the pending list of transactions that need to be categorised and approved, I have old transactions from May that are coming up again. I categorise and approve transactions every month, 2x a month... Today after opening up QB, I have 250 pending transactions form may that need to be categorised and approved again. What's happening?

The issue you're experiencing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) could be due to several factors, topher-activerec.

Firstly, if there is a problem with the connection between your bank and QuickBooks, old transactions will be re-downloaded during a re-sync of historical data. This could cause previously approved transactions to reappear for approval. Secondly, if you disconnect and then reconnect your bank account, previously approved transactions will also reappear.

Check for duplicates by comparing the May transactions in the “For Review” section with those already entered into your register. Once confirmed as duplicates, mark them as "Excluded" to resolve the problem.

Refer to this article for guidance on how to exclude duplicate transactions: Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online.
