The New Window feature under Accountants tools is currently under a product investigation. The developers team is working on it. As soon as I am given an update, I'll be sure to notify you.
For now, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Cares support so they can add you to the list of affected users. This way, it will be easier to disseminate updates once the issue is fixed.
You can have this investigation number as your reference INV-49746 so they can also attached your case from there.

Click on the Help (?) icon.
Select Assistant and enter Contact support in the chat field, and then click the Send icon.
