Deducting child support from subcontractor and report in qb

Hi richardhemara,

If a subcontractor is added as an employee and would like to report child support deduction through Single Touch Payroll (STP), you will need to assign the applicable child support classification against the relevant child support deduction category. 

Here's how: 

1. On Employees tab, select Payroll Settings.
2. Select Deduction Categories.
3. Select the deduction category and then change the Classification to either Child support deduction or Child support garnishee. 
4. Select Save.
