How do i access the advanced settings to change accounting method...i click on gear icon and select account settings but there is no advanced settings tab

Thank you for getting in touch. 

When trying to change the accounting method, you were following the correct steps:

1. Select the Gear icon
2. Select Account and Settings
3. On the left hand side of the screen, select Advanced
4. Within the first section (Accounting), change the accounting method

However, if you were having issues seeing the Advanced tab when following the steps, I would advise getting in touch with our support team so they can look into this for you further.

1. Log in to QuickBooks Online
2. Select Help
3. Select Contact Us
