Question

Why are the reminders in dollars? Since the new AI assistant, if I send a reminder it is in $ but I want it in €. How do I change this? It was never the case before

Welcome to the Community, Carroll.

QuickBooks Online uses the company’s default currency settings for invoices, reminders, and other communications. A recent update might have changed or reset your default currency to dollars ($).

Since the reminders are now showing amounts in dollars ($) instead of euros (€), we can double-check your home currency in the Account and settings to ensure reminders use euros (€) as the currency for your customers.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then Account and Settings.
  2. Select Advanced. Then, in the Currency section, select the Edit button.
  3. In the Home currency column, select the Euro currency you wish to change to from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Save, then Done.

Please feel free to leave a comment below with any questions, Carroll. I'm here to help in any way I can.
