Question

I cannot connect maybank business account. After user id, password and OTP, it does not show any account to choose from. Please advise.

I'll help you fix the connection issue with Maybank, ferry_mulyadi-ou.

 

There are several reasons why your account doesn't appear when connecting to QuickBooks Online. Check out below:

 

  • Your bank has multiple names on our list. Ensure you have selected the correct listing or tried all possible links. Search by the banking sign-in URL to ensure you use the accurate listing.
  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs business accounts).
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution.

 

There are several reasons why your account doesn't appear when connecting to QuickBooks Online. Check out below:

 

  • Your bank does not connect to all types of accounts, such as personal versus business.
  • We have several names from your financial institution on our list.
  • The bank is not a participant in the financial system.

 

You'll want to try other listed names of your bank. If you've tried all options and cannot connect, or if your bank doesn't appear, I suggest requesting support for your bank. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping > Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks cannot find your bank, select 'Still can't find your bank?'.
  4. Enter your Bank name and web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

Once connected, you can categorize and match your bank transactions and reconcile your account.

Hi, i still have the same issue even after clearing the cache and browser history in my google chrome, and i see lots of error. Please advise.

I'd like to redirect you to the best support group available to get this resolved so you can connect your Maybank account successfully in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Aside from clearing the browser's cache, have you tried the troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague GlinetteC above? If you haven't yet, I suggest doing it so.

 

If you get the same result, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further check on this matter and provide in-depth troubleshooting steps to get this resolved. They can also create an investigation ticket if other users are experiencing the same.

 

To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.
