Hello, Vaishali. These email notifications are sent because our system identified your location based on at least two non-contradictory pieces of information, such as the country of your billing address, payment method, IP address, or phone number. This is to ensure the information is correct to maintain tax compliance and avoid potential disruptions to your account or subscription in the future.

To set this right, ensure your tax location is verified correctly by checking the company's address field, as this is used for tax filings. Go to the Gear icon > Account and Settings > Company tab. Click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Address section. Ensure the Company address, Customer-facing address, and Legal address are all consistent. Select Save, then Done.

QuickBooks also checks your tax location against your billing address and payment method country. Log in to your Intuit Account to ensure your billing address, primary phone number, and payment method all match your physical business location. Consistency across at least two of these data points is required to verify your location and avoid compliance notifications.

Once verified, QuickBooks will accurately automate your GST calculations and tax reports to save you time. This ensures your books stay compliant for audits, unlocks all premium features, and helps you monitor your account for any unauthorized security changes.
