Your phone plan doesn't include SMS text messages.
Your phone plan doesn't allow you to receive messages from short codes (5-digit numbers).
In this case, you may need to contact your phone provider to see if your plan can be set up to receive SMS messages and shortcodes, so you can receive validation codes from Intuit.
Also, your phone number might not be selected as the default setting in QBO to send a text message verification code. To check and correct the phone number associated, let's log in to your Intuit account and follow these steps:
Click Sign in & security from the left menu.
In the 2-step verification section, select Turn on.
Select Set up and make sure your phone number is correct.
Choose Text message so you'll receive a six-digit verification code.
Click Continue.
Enter the code then select Continue.
