Double windows, popup window

At the moment the new security feature that blocks multiple windows of QB at the same time is blocing many actions. I cannot upload bank file as the popup window closes the initial session. Also, I cannot even open the calculator or take a screenshot without below message. This currently makes it impossible for me to finalise the year end procedures, especially if the bank file upload is being blocked. What happened to your QuickBooks page? To ensure security, only one QuickBooks company can be opened at a time in this browser. Please do one of the following:. Even opening the window for support makes the initial session go away. Refresh the page to load the last company you had open. Close this tab. Tip! If you need to work in two different QuickBooks companies at the same time, use two different browsers, like Chrome and Firefox.

Hello there, Jimmy.

The error that you're encountering is working as designed. This was implemented to protect account sessions from potential breaches, using multiple windows to access sensitive data concurrently.

However, if you've been experiencing this error while trying to open the same company file in the same browser, it's due to corrupted data. We recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. It allows you to isolate the issue and resolve the unusual behavior you're encountering.

Additionally, please ensure that you've added Intuit to your browser's 'Allow' list for pop-ups and redirects. Also, verify that your bank file is not corrupted or has the correct format, as this can prevent access to certain features on the QuickBooks page.
