Each time I try to deposit a check I get an error that the check can not be deposited unknown error.

I am trying to use the mobile check deposit and it will not work under any conditions.

QuickBooks mobile deposits may fail if the account isn't eligible or the check doesn't meet the requirements. However, if you've already confirmed that all conditions are satisfied, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks app to clear any temporary glitches and ensure you have the latest version.

 

You can also try depositing on a separate mobile device, like another tablet, to isolate the issue. If the deposit goes through, the issue is specific to your device.

 

Additionally, we always send an email notification if a check is rejected or returned, so please check your inbox for a message containing details to fix a possible account-specific issue.
