Hi my quickbooks online school trial has ended. I'm now trying to resubsribe but it doesnt allow me to choose any plans. The only option I have is $46/month?

Thanks for reaching out, Ynah. There are two ways to resubscribe to a cheaper plan, and that’s either by downgrading your existing plan or by subscribing to a new account.

To begin with, when trying to resubscribe, you’ll automatically renew to the same plan since QuickBooks doesn’t allow you to choose another plan due to your previous trial being tied to a specific plan. If you don’t want to lose your existing data, you can choose to resubscribe to the same plan. After resubscribing, you can then downgrade to a cheaper plan.

Here’s how to downgrade your plan:

1. Go to Settings and select Subscriptions and Billing.
2. Select View payment history and check if your payment information is up to date.
3. In your QuickBooks Online product section, select Downgrade your plan.
4. Review the available plans and select Choose plan.
5. To change your plan, follow the steps on the page.

However, if you don’t want to use your old account and would prefer to start fresh on a cheaper plan, I suggest subscribing to a new account through the plans and pricing page. Then, choose a lower-priced plan.
