Hi there, Hajar. You can cancel your subscription, then submit a request to delete your QuickBooks account. Cancelling your plan removes your company data after one year of non-renewal.

 

During that period, your company profile remains linked to your Intuit account, which is why you can still log in to view your data. However, you won't be able to make any changes or add new transactions while in this read-only state. To do this, click the Gear icon>Subscriptions and billing>Cancel.

 

If you’d prefer to remove everything immediately, you can submit a request to permanently delete your data. This includes your company file, username, password, and any other Intuit services linked to your account. Please know that submitting this request is irreversible.

 

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Select Data Privacy.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Select Make a delete request and follow the on-screen instructions. You'll be able to choose the account and product data you would like to delete.
