I'm glad that you've been part of the QuickBooks family. Let me share some ideas and help you cancel QuickBooks.
If you're using a free trial service, QuickBooks will automatically cancel the account after 30 days of service. I see that you've decided to cancel it now, you can follow the steps below. Though, I recommend exporting or printing your data before canceling your account.
Here's how to cancel your QBO account:
Go to the Gear icon.
Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
In the Billing & Subscription tab, click the Cancel Trial option.
Then, click the Continue to cancel button.
On the other hand, if you have a paid status, you can still follow the first and second steps above. Then, continue the steps below:
In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel. This option is for the paid subscription.
Click Continue to Cancel.
Then, click Cancel one more time to verify the cancellation.
After canceling your QBO account, you can still view your data, but you're unable to add new information to it. It will be deleted from our system after a year. However, as long as you're within the read-only access period, you can still export your data there.
