How do I reset the system, I keep getting error messages when I want to input expenses or when I want to search for recent transactions?

I'd like to know the error messages you've got when accessing your QuickBooks Online account to input expenses and search for recent transactions? This way, I can further check more resources and share the best thing to do to get rid of those errors.

First, you can log out in your QuickBooks Online account and log back in.

Then, we can perform the basic troubleshooting steps to verify if this is a browser-related issue. Sometimes your browser stores old data that causes unexpected behavior in QBO. Opening your company using the incognito mode allows you to browse without storing internet history and cookies. Follow these steps to bring up a private browser.

• For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
• For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
• For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N  

From there, create an expense and search for other transactions. If this works, clearing the cache will help the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and faster browsing experience. If the issue persists, check the pop-up blocker and make sure to add an exception for QBO.
