Since the amount received from the supplier is not for returned inventory items or not a debit note, I suggest manually recording this as a deposit in QuickBooks.
Here's how:
Click the + New icon.
Choose a Bank Deposit.
From the Account drop-down list, choose the account you want to deposit the money into.
Select or enter the supplier name from Received from.
