Are you encountering any error messages when trying to downgrade, or is the downgrade option greyed out?
You can usually downgrade directly in your QuickBooks account by going to the Gear icon, click Subscriptions and billing, and selecting Downgrade your plan under the Billed to you section.
If you are downgrading from QuickBooks Online Advanced to a lower plan, the interface may prompt you to call support to understand which features will be lost or disabled.
However, if you are ready to downgrade immediately, you can bypass this step by editing your browser's address bar. Once logged in, manually change your URL to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/changeplan to access the downgrade menu.
Choose your desired plan, click Continue, and your account will automatically switch over and be resubscribed. Please also note that the downgrade will typically take effect on your next billing date.
