I have phone code verification but the code is not being received neither by text nor by call to the mobile number I have set. how do i access my account?

It's been 48hrs now i can't get access to my account. I have changed email address, changed phone number, yet i can't get the code verification nor by text or call. My service provider has checked and there's no block on my account. I spoke to a QB agent, no solution given as on their end they are seeing the code was delivered. They can't do anything for me. I've tried the options from the community. Nothing works, how do i move on with this? This is really frustrating and trying to contact customer support is even more frustrating and time wasting. Help!!!

Hello there, SR_36. I understand how frustrating this can be. Since the verification codes aren’t coming through, the best next step is to use the Intuit Account Recovery process, which connects you to the team that can manually verify your identity.

 

Here’s what to do:

 

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Account Recovery page: Account Recovery Form Link.
  2. Fill out the form with the email or phone number on your account. If you no longer have access to these, you can upload a government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, or notarized ID).
  3. Submit the form and wait for an email from no_response@intuit.com with the next steps. You should receive this within one business day.
  4. Follow the instructions in that email carefully to reset your password and regain access.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting the QuickBooks Live Support team again for further investigation. They can help you understand why you are unable to access your account.
