Verification messages (such as SMS or call for codes) sometimes fail to arrive because of factors beyond the control of QuickBooks or similar services, including:
Some carriers may block or delay automated SMS messages.
Messages might be flagged as spam or blocked by mobile carriers.
If the user is roaming internationally, the message delivery can be delayed or prevented.
The user’s phone settings (e.g., blocking unknown numbers or using SMS filtering apps) can also interfere.
Network disruptions or maintenance.
Since you cannot receive codes via SMS or calls, we can use an alternative phone number by accessing your Intuit profile.
Here's how:
Click on the Profile on the upper left side of the QBO page.
Choose the Manage Intuit Account to route you to your Intuit Profile section.
Go to Sign in & Security and click the Phone tab.
On the Add Your Phone window, select Change. Ensure that you provide a mobile number with an active network that supports international SMS and voice verification.
Enter the alternative number and click the Save button once done.
Next, continue by adding your Admin user to enable successful invitations within your QuickBooks Online account.
