I'm glad to see you here in the Community forum, @Altins.

The error code 81901 indicates an issue with processing your subscription payment or the credit/debit card you're using. This factor includes:

  • The card that you're using is out of date.
  • Your card is invalid or not supported by the system.
  • Your Financial institution (FI) declined the payment.

Please know that we don't have control over this response, as it is coming from the external Payment Service Providers(PSP). In such cases, we recommend contacting the card-issuing bank, as the transaction is declined by your bank.

Also, you can retry by changing your payment method. If you're the primary admin of the company, you can also change/add it directly from the Intuit Account Manager page by logging in using your Intuit login credentials. Here's how:

  1. Log in to the Intuit Account Manager page.
  2. Pick the Payment methods menu and Add or Edit your payment information.
  3. Provide accurate and necessary details. Then, follow the on-screen process of updating or adding a payment method.

You can also update your payment method directly in your QBO account as a Primary user. To learn more about this, please review this link: Fix subscription payment failed issues.

Moreover, you may use the Intuit Payment Wallet as your payment method in QuickBooks. It provides an easier way to pay your billing and subscription fees within QuickBooks products.

If you have already reached out to your bank and updated your payment method, yet the issue persists, I recommend contacting our phone support team. They can further help you look into the root cause of this error and find ways to fix it.

Feel free to return here if you have additional questions. We're here to help you.
