Is it possible for a user's account to be unrecognizable to the qb system despite their account still being active?

Quickbooks thinks the email being used is new and keeps asking to make an account despite that email being used all this time.

Hi there, Mike!

We understand how important it is to work seamlessly, and we're here to help.

Before we proceed, may I confirm if you're trying to log in to the qbo.intuit.com portal? Please ensure you're using the correct email associated with your QuickBooks account. If the email is correct, QuickBooks should recognize your account and allow you to log in without prompting you to create a new one.

If QuickBooks still doesn’t recognize your email despite it being correct, I recommend using a different supported browser or use incognito mode.

You can use these shortcuts to open incognito mode:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once you're logged in, try logging back in using the email.

Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions or concerns. We're here to assist!
