You can go to your Accounts and Settings to add a password and close your financial year, Wael. I'll be glad to assist you in this process.

Closing your books is an important step to prevent any unwanted changes before filing your taxes. Before we proceed, please ensure that you have thoroughly reviewed your financial data for accurate records. Once you have done that, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to the Gear  icon, then select Accounts and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab, then click the pencil icon in the Accounting section.
  4. Toggle on the Close the books option.
  5. Enter your preferred closing date, then select Allow changes after viewing a warning and entering a password option from the dropdown.
  6. Set a password.
  7. Once done, click  Save then Done.
