Hi there, Tectona. The error you’re experiencing occurs when QuickBooks is unable to locate your account on your bank or financial institution’s website. This can happen when the account is closed.

 

If this bank account has been closed and is no longer in use, we can remove its connection by marking the Disconnect this account on save option in the Bank transactions page.

 

  1. On the Bank transactions page, select your bank's tile.
  2. Click on the pencil icon, then Edit account info.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tick the Disconnect this account on save box.

 

If necessary, you can reconnect your account. Just ensure that it isn't already linked to your chart of accounts.
