Why my sales figures from my bank and my EFTPOS sales figures are both in quickbooks

Based on the scenario, it looks like your bank is connected to the bank feeds in QuickBooks Online (QBO) as well as your EFTPOS. That’s why your sales amounts are showing up in your company.

When you integrate a third-party application to QBO, the information we receive is dependent upon what is sent over to us. Since your EFTPOS sales figures are imported to the online program, I recommend contacting their customer support for further assistance. They can explain in detail the integration process and then guide you on how to map and record your transactions. Thus, preventing the issue from happening again.

Once you link your bank account to online banking, QuickBooks Online automatically downloads transactions. You’ll have to review and classify them to make sure they’re categorized correctly.
