My templates are not working but they are default

If I view them they perfect but if I send a quote or invoice its the normal plain one nothing I do helped

In addition to verifying the template, make sure the Online delivery option is set to Online invoice rather than Plain text. This will help prevent transactions from displaying basic details once emailed. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. From the Sales tab, scroll down to the Online delivery section.
  3. Click the Pencil icon.
  4. Ensure the Online invoice is selected from the dropdown below the Additional email options for invoices.
  5. Select Save.


If everything is configured correctly, this behavior may be caused by accumulated browser cache or corrupted data. You can access your QuickBooks Online account in an incognito window or a different browser to determine if this is a browser-specific issue.
