A bank transaction hasn’t shown up in QuickBooks. Its payment for a customer invoice which means I cannot mark this as paid

Let's first find out why your bank transactions isn't showing, and make sure it showed up so you can mark the invoice as paid.

 

Firstly, you'll have to make sure that the payment transaction has been posted or cleared from your bank. Once confirmed, let's update your bank account to ensure all your bank transactions showed up. Here's how:

 

  1. In the left menu, select Transactions.
  2. Go to the Bank transactions tab, then select the Bank account where the payment should show up.
  3. Click the Refresh button.

 

After that, check the payment transaction.
