Can I still send a receipt for a paid invoice from mobile app? At the moment when I mark invoice as paid I can only send it as a reminder.

I’m new to the Sole Trader moved from QB self employed. Once I mark an invoice as paid in the mobile app I need to be able to send a receipt. In QB ST it only gives you an option to send the invoice as a reminder. I’m adapting the email but want to know if there is a different way.

Hello there, Jack68. The option to generate an actual payment receipt isn't available in the QuickBooks Sole Trader. However, you can resend the paid invoice. This way, your customer receives an email containing a View receipt button.

This link directs them to a summary page showing a zero balance due, along with the option to download a PDF copy of the invoice clearly marked with a Paid in Full status label. This serves as official proof of payment for their records.
