Can't add US company address and phone number, as I'm UK-based. does anyone face the same issues? How can I sort this out?

Since QBO's address format, like postal code and zip code, is determined by the account's country setting, and changing the registered country isn't possible, I suggest subscribing to a US-based account. Choose the country you want to subscribe to.
