Can you upgrade from QuickBooks online to QuickBooks plus ? Or do you need to take out a new subscription ?

Yes, you can upgrade your QuickBooks Online Simple Start to QuickBooks Online Plus without taking out a new subscription. The upgrade process allows you to retain your existing account, data, and  setup while accessing advanced features available in the higher-tier plan.

To assist with the process, ensure you're logged in as the Primary Admin on the account. Then, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings and select Subscriptions and billing.
2. Verify that your payment info is up to date.
3. In the QuickBooks Online section, click Upgrade your plan.
4. Review the available options and then select Choose plan.
5. Then, follow the on-screen steps to complete your upgrade.
