Changing the default mileage rate to 50p

Please know that in QuickBooks Online, the mileage rate is set by default and cannot be manually adjusted. The system automatically updates the rate after reaching the 10,000-mile threshold, but it does not currently allow users to set custom rates, such as 50p per mile.

We recommend reaching out to HMRC directly to confirm how these adjustments align with regulations regarding business vehicle usage. They can offer additional guidance to ensure compliance and accuracy.
