Charging for postage

Hi!

 

Question,

as of now we post parcels using Royal Mail(they were the cheapest so far) but since we usually send them 2nd class they’re VAT exempt. What’s the best service to use so we could to make it more cost effective?

Are you wanting to know how to record the delivery for the postage charge that is vat exempt in Quickbooks? 

 

Are you wanting to know how to record this on the invoice? 

 

If that is the case on the invoice you would have to do 2 lines. The first line would be the product and then the 2nd line will be the postage charge with the vat set to exempt.
