Product and service items in QuickBooks act as a catalog (for names, descriptions, prices, and taxes) rather than individual entities, so they don’t have a built-in address field. Instead, addresses are tied directly to your Customers and Suppliers. Depending on how you would like the address to appear, here are a couple of great ways to handle this:

If you need to track where items are being shipped, the best approach is to add the address to the supplier’s profile:

  1. Navigate to All apps, then Customer hub.
  2. Choose Customers.
  3. Select your customer's name, or click New customer to add them.
  4. In the Addresses tab, enter the customer's details. You can check the Shipping address box if it is the same as the billing address, or uncheck it to enter a separate shipping address.

If you prefer the address to show up directly alongside a specific item on your invoices or estimates, you can manually type or paste the address into the product's Description field.
