Hi,
Yes, I've tried using the revert option and it will only allow me to change/update the ASSEMBLY ITEM, DATE and QUANTITY TO BUILD not the ITEM (Inventory Part) and QTY Needed. Please advise. Thank you!
Thanks for the update, @ejoyce_00.
Let's delete the line item so you can edit and correct the details of your Assembly Builds in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I'm here to show you how.
- Go to the Inventory menu and select Build Assemblies.
- Click the Previous arrow to get to the build you want to edit.
- Select the line item you want to correct.
- Go to the Edit menu.
- Select Delete Line.
- Add the (correct) inventory item you want to include in your Assembly Builds and all other necessary info.
- Click Build & Close.

You can read this article for more details: Add, edit, and delete items.
Also, you may want to check out this article as your reference to guide you in keeping your stock status accurate in QBDT: Adjust your stock quantity or value in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you have other concerns about building assemblies and managing inventories in QBDT. I'm always ready to help. Take care, @ejoyce_00.
