Could you please provide the name of your bank? Providing any additional details will help us address the issue more effectively. You can also check your bank’s website to see if they’re doing any maintenance or making changes that might be causing connection problems.

If everything looks good on the bank's end, I'd recommend reaching out to our Live Support team. They have the right tools to securely check your account and help get this sorted out. Availability can vary depending on your specific product, so please be sure to check our team's support hours before reaching out.

While working on the reconnection, you can download your bank transactions in CSV format and upload them to QuickBooks to keep your books up to date.

Please let me know what you find out so I can help you further.

While you have tried reconnecting a few times, your bank connection consent may have expired. Halifax requires reauthorisation every 90 days to keep your data moving.

To update your connection, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. In the left menu, go to All apps, select Accounting, and then choose Bank transactions.
  2. Select the dropdown arrow next to Link account.
  3. Choose Manage connections.
  4. Find your Halifax account, select the More ⋮ icon, and click Manage consent.
  5. Select Reconfirm and then click OK to finish.

If you still see that unexpected error after trying these steps, please connect with our Live Support Team. They can securely access your account and provide additional troubleshooting during a screen-sharing session.
