How do delete my account?

I mistakenly signed up as a new user on the UK portal. I actually wanted to access the US portal to complete my pro advisor training. I cant find any options to do so. So I tried deleting my existing account in order to start a fresh sign up process. That didn't go through either. I keep getting an email saying "There’s something for you to do in your Intuit Account before we can delete your data." I have been through this process thrice now. Tried reaching support but they couldn't help either.

Hello there, Archit. I'll walk you through how to delete an account and make sure you finish your ProAdvisor training.

 

To get started, you’ll need to submit a request to delete your newly created UK account to comply with data protection standards. Please note that the process takes up to 90 days.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Go to the Data Privacy section.
  3. Click on Delete.
  4. Select Make a delete request and follow the steps provided.

 

To finish your training, you can use this link to sign in if you already have a QuickBooks Online Accountant for the US region: Choose a QuickBooks product to sign in.

Make sure to use a new email address that’s different from the one you used for your UK region account.
