We're glad you've posted here, @nickburke. Let's fix this odd behaviour in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.
Before we begin, may we know what specific actions or events you took before adding a comment line to your invoices? A screenshot of the exact problem would be greatly appreciated. It will enable us to diagnose and resolve the issue more accurately.
In the meantime, we suggest logging in to your QBO account using a web browser to determine if the problem is specific to the app. If you can add a comment line on invoices in a web browser, you can refresh your app's data. It will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data, eliminating errors that cause the issue. Here's how:
For iOS
Go to Settings, then tap General.
Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Online app.
Tap Offload App.
For Andriod
Go to Menu ☰. Tap More Options.
Tap Settings and then Refresh Data.
Tap YES to confirm.
If the issues persist after following the steps above, please uninstall and reinstall your QBO mobile app. It's another way of setting your app to the most up-to-date version.
We're always here to help you out, @nickburke. If you have any follow-up questions about your QBO invoices in the mobile app, please share them here in the Community. Enjoy the rest of your week!
