Once the CIS feature is enabled in QuickBooks, it can't be switched off. It stays active permanently to ensure your records are available for future taxes or audits.
That said, you can leave those specific CIS settings alone. As long as you don't select the CIS options on future invoices or expenses, the system won't apply those rules or deductions to your new work.
