How do you change the milage rate from 45p to 55p on quickbooks self employed?

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) uses the Simplified Expenses method to calculate mileage allowances based on the flat rates set by HMRC. We cannot manually adjust the mileage rate within the program.

Since HMRC determines these rates, QuickBooks will automatically apply them. However, if the rate hasn’t been updated yet, I recommend contacting our Live QBSE team for assistance so they can ensure it reflects the current one.

1. Select the Help icon, then Contact Us.
