Question

I am employed AND self employed, so I have several different income sources. Some of my income is taxed already, and some of it is not. Is there a way to tell Quickbooks which income sources come from employers, and are already taxed?

Let me help you classify the transactions, Catilbury-gmail-.

You can add details in the Notes or Description field when you record the income transaction. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Click Add transaction.
  3. Fill in the necessary fields.
  4. Click Save.

I'll share the article on how to assign transactions as a future reference: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
