In QuickBooks Sole Trader, you can mark the invoice as paid by clicking the Record payment link instead of selecting it, @russmfinch.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Get paid.
  2. Go to the Invoices tab.
  3. Click the Record payment link from the Action column.
  4. Click Save.

If it still won't let you click the option or open the transaction, let's clear the cache from your browser to prevent related discrepancies. Once this data gets corrupted, it causes unusual behavior and affects the software's functionality.

To begin with, click your browser below for guidance:

If you're still unable to record a payment to mark the invoice as paid, consider using a different supported, and updated browser. This will help avoid issues specific to the browser you're currently using.

On top of that, you can learn how to identify your transaction as either for business or personal: Categorise bank transactions in QuickBooks Sole Trader.
