Is the mileage expense been updated to 55p on the quickbooks app yet? Thought i was going be backdated to April 2026 but the change hasn't been reflected yet

QuickBooks Online has not yet automated the updated 55p HMRC rate, meaning the system will not automatically apply the backdated change to your trips. To ensure your records are accurate, you will need to manually adjust the rate for those specific journeys.  

To update your trips, use the left-hand navigation menu to select Expenses and then click on Mileage. From there, go to the Reviewed tab, select the specific trip you need to change, and manually input the new 55p flat rate. Be sure to click Save after updating the details.
