Making Tax Digital - VAT

Hello,

 

The business has not reached the VAT threshold of annual turnover of £85K yet. Are we still suppose to go ahead with MTD?

 

It has been three years since incorporation. However, only started trading from last year June. We do reckon to cross the threshold sometime in future.

 

Please advise.

Hi MD15,

 

You only need to register for MTD if you meet the requirements as set by HMRC which you can find on their website.

 

If you don't meet the requirements and don't choose to voluntarily sign up, you can continue to submit your VAT return through QuickBooks via your current government gateway :)
