I'm here to share some information about the connection to CaterAllen.
The Open Banking PSD2 Deadline was on March 14th. This means that bank feed data can only be downloaded into QuickBooks via Open banking API or enhanced screen scraping connection. There are several banks that have no open banking solution readily available or the connection could not be established in time for the regulatory deadline, one of them was Cater Allen.
Please know that the bank feeds in these instances were turned off last March 12, 2020, in compliance with Open Banking regulations. Rest assured, we're working closely with banks and financial institutions to provide Open Banking connections for as many banking products as possible and open banking compliant bank feed so that your banks will become available in the future. For now, we can manually upload your bank transactions to your QuickBooks account. You can go to your bank's website and follow the instructions on how to download them. Currently, these are our supported file formats:
Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
QuickBooks Online (QBO)
After uploading it, let's go back to the Banking menu to match and categorize your bank transactions. This will help you to avoid double entries.
