Quickbooks online - unable to add customer email due to apostrophe

When I attempt to add an additional email address to the customer profile, I get a message saying '"Please enter a valid email". I believe the issue is because the email address I'm adding contains an apostrophe.

 

Is there a way around this issue?

 Hello Eagleeyesolutions, thanks for reaching out to us on the Community page, unfortunately there is no workaround for this, you are unable to enter in a customer's email address that has an apostrophe in it in QuickBooks online.
