TRansferring Data

Before i move my desktop data online, can i mess around on Quickbooks Online and put in some dummy information, will the desktop data then overwrite what i have done?

Hi Sultainj11, thanks for joining the Community - yes, the imported file from QuickBooks Desktop will overwrite any information in the Online account 🙂

Keep in mind, if you are using QBO Simple Start or your account > 60 days old, you should open a new blank account instead to convert your data from QB Desktop.
