I was trying to log into my account to make sure my billing info was correct and I tried my login a couple of times and it deactivated.    How to I get it reactivated and find out which account login and password you have?

Being deactivated or locked out is caused by several failed login attempts. If you're having trouble remembering your user ID or password, reset or recover them by following these steps:

 

  1. Go back to the log in screen, then click I forgot my user ID or Password
  2. Enter either your phone number, email address, then select Continue
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  4. After that, you'll receive an email with a password reset link.

I need help with changing the main Admin on my account so I can get quick books installed on my new computer

Let me help you change the main admin on your account, Jm.

 

In QuickBooks Desktop, you can only have one primary admin per company or Intuit Account. If the Primary Admin isn't around or can't make the change on their own, you can send a request to our account protection team.

 

On the other hand, you can transfer the Company primary admin or the Intuit Account primary admin to a new user. Here's how:

 

To transfer the primary company admin from QuickBooks Desktop, follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Go to  Company, then select My Company.
  2. Select Manage Your Account.
  3. Sign in with your Intuit Account info. This should be different from what you use to sign in to your company file.
  4. Scroll down to the Primary Contact section and select Change.
  5. Select the new primary contact from the list of contacts on the account.
    Note: If the user isn't listed, the admin should invite or add the user. The user should accept the invite to change the primary contact on the account.
  6. Select Save and Close.

 

To transfer the primary company admin from a web browser, refer to these detailed steps:

 

  1. Open a browser and sign in to your Intuit Account (CAMPs).
  2. Scroll down to the Primary Contact section and select Change.
  3. Select the new primary contact from the list on the account.
    Note: If the user isn't listed, the admin should invite or add the user. The user should accept the invite to change the primary contact on the account.
  4. Select Save and Close.
