Question

When a customer changed their company name, the whole history of invoice also changed? we can't see when its change at a glance. Why is that?

QuickBooks is designed this way to ensure that the updated company name is consistently reflected across all records, including the entire invoice history, Pegler. This ensures that all records remain aligned with the updated company name.

Also, to find details about changes made to a customer’s information, you can use the Audit log feature. This tool records all updates to a customer’s details, including the old name, the new name, who made the change, and the date and time it occurred.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit log.
  3. Filter the UserDate, or Events to show results.
  4. Find the transaction and click View.
