Question

When I take a photo of receipt it doesn't up load.

I have checked settings both on qb and phone

I know how challenging it can be when the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app doesn't work as expected, @theludlowgardenerLet’s troubleshoot this together and get things running smoothly, so you can upload your receipts without delays.

 

Since you've confirmed your program settings and phone permissions are properly configured, let's proceed to reset the app's data and refresh it to restore optimal performance. Here’s how:

 

For iOS

  1. Tap Settings, then locate General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage, then QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Press Offload App.

 

For Android

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Pick Settings, then Refresh Data.

  3. Hit YES to confirm.

 

Once refreshed, restart your device and check if the issue persists. If it does, please uninstall and reinstall the app. Secure a stable internet connection and use the latest version of the system.

 

In the meantime, let's upload your receipts using a web browser. Supported file types include PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG. If you have HEIC images, convert them to a compatible format. Then, navigate to the  Receipts page to transfer these records from your computer or Google Drive.
