Did you encounter any error messages when trying to add the receipt or categorise the transaction? Also, what fields or options do you see?
To upload a receipt and categorise a transaction, go to Accounting -> Bank transactions, then click your transaction. Next, toggle to Categorise. Under the Memo section, select Files, hit Upload to attach your receipt, and then click Post.
