can I change the layout of the reconciliation report

My reconciliation report is showing the word expense and then the $ amount. I want a description of the expenses. How do I do that?

    Welcome to the QuickBooks Community forum, soozdown.

     

    Changing the layout of the reconciliation report within QuickBooks isn't available. However, you can manually export and adjust the report to meet your needs. Here's a step-by-step guide:  

     

    1. Highlight the information displayed in the reconciliation report.
    2. Right-click and choose Copy to copy the data.
    3. Open Excel, then right-click and select Paste to insert the information into your spreadsheet.
    4. Adjust the column widths and formatting as needed.
    5. Once you're satisfied with the layout, hit Save.
